The book reproduces the beautiful and enchanting illustrations that accompany the story in color gravure, and also introduces the text with many illustrations. The translation by Rio Kishida, a poet who was active at Shinchokan at the time, is also beautiful, and the design is also wonderful, with elegant elements such as three-column layout, color text, and endpapers used throughout. This is a book typical of Shinchokan in the 70s, with an air of elegance that makes you sigh throughout. Akio Uno designed the cover.
